Activities
Game Drives
Our game drives are very popular. With a game farm that has over 1500 hectares of natural bushveld vegetation in the Waterberg biosphere, boasting over 20 different species of animals and a healthy bird population, including an enormous array of birds of prey, the beauty of nature can be watched from our open safari vehicle. We do not let you miss out on even the smallest dung beetle, tortoises, all kinds of insects, snakes and many more, all this from safety and comfort of your seat. Drives last for 60 to 120 minutes and are either early morning and late afternoon. Packed lunch or picnic basket available on request.
Sundowner Drives
Fishing
For the ultimate in serenity and relaxation enjoy a day of fishing on the gorgeous farm lake. We will provide you with everything you need, including fishing rods, lures and tackle or bring your own. This makes for an ideal family outing with picnic baskets or sundowners at the end of the day. We only have local species, including 6 species of Kurper (Bream) and African Sharptooth Cat Fish. Fishing is strictly catch, take a photo and release.
Archery
Archery is an ancient sport that will test your aim, fitness, and skill. At the archery range, you will be briefed and given a demonstration – and then you will get the opportunity to try it for yourself. Buttresses are placed at specific distances, making your task both challenging and interesting.
Clay Pigeon Shooting
Hidden away on the farm, within our shooting range is a small clay shooting venue. Aimed at beginners and novice shooters, it is an opportunity to try your hand at this exiting shooting activity. Full instructions are given. Not available to children under 16 years.
Guided Bush Walks
Explore our beautiful landscape on foot. Our qualified rangers will plan a specific route according to the fauna and flora in which you and your partner, or group, are most interested. Walk through the reserve accompanied by the majestic silence of the African Bushveld.
Star Gazing
Africa is known for its high, open skies. These are even more magical when out in the South African bushveld, where the stars and moon are the only sources of light. Our field guides will interpret and reveal the wonders of the South Celestial Skies.
